Music

These pages are still under construction, and very few reviews are currently available. However, you can still follow the links below which will give an indication of what sort of music will be covered in the coming months. They will take the form of selective reviews based primarily on my own collection of recordings. In some cases comparisons will be made between several recordings of the same repertoire (e.g. Stanford's church music, Saint-Saëns' piano concertos or Shostakovich's string quartets), but there is no attempt at comprehensive coverage in the manner of BBC Radio 3's Building a Library.
